A modeling Agency is an Agency that represents Models. A campaign can buy out a Model for several years, while an Agency get’s Models started and looks for people who fit the correct description of height and weight ? people who look like they want to be a Model while fitting in to the descriptions. However, you need to apply to Agencies because if you know you are a born Model, it is not always true that they will scout out Model’s or necessarily find them. Those are rare cases and Agencies can be contacted through email, and they will need a Portfolio from applying Models. If they like what they see you’ll get called in for an interview for possible representation. Big Agencies can usually be found in most major states in the country, and they work with other Agencies and Runway shows in other countries, such as Italy and France.
