Eyepopping Colors of Spring/Summer 2012

Hottest color trends for the season are overwhelming boutiques all over the world, in the malls, the streets or online. If you haven?t been update, here?s your tip.

Orange leads the parade of bright colors for spring. As color of the year, it?s all over the place from hats to dresses to shoes to bags to belts to sunglasses. Many of its shades such as tangerine, vermillion and sherbert are tried by designers, like Michael Kors and Charlotte Ronson.

Secrets to wearing orange fashion:

See if you look good in orange or not, because it?s a color that doesn?t flatter everyone.

If you don?t look good in orange but still would love to wear an item of this color, try putting on a skirt or anything that won?t be too close to your face. Pop with color by carrying an orange purse, walking on orange pumps, or even shielding with an orange umbrella. Wear it one at a time, of course, unless you want to look like a fashion catastrophe.

Yellow always comes after orange. They?re inseparable when it comes to the rules of fashion.

Red in the loveliest hues and tones make the season more exciting. Wouldn?t you like to be that girl in the red dress at a party? Totally a stand-out!

Fuchsia doesn?t pop as often as orange and white in collections but it looks just as wonderful when it finally does.

Blue represents coolness for Spring/Summer 2012. Electric blue is almost too sharp for the sight. Deep dark blue and turquoise are quite elegant. Aquamarine gives a youthful glow. A very pale blue relaxes moods the most.

Monochromatic tints come out gracefully, especially in the Spring/Summer collection of Salvatore Ferragamo, where nudes have the highest number of appearances.

White is perfect for summer.

Black, of course, never vanishes, whatever the season is. The black and white combination never loses its smartness and sophistication even if 2012 gave it a new, unusual look.

Soft caramel colors represent pastels. These include a big whip of cream, touches of pale pink, hint of coral, bloom of peaches and split of banana.

Worn either separately or together, these can be combined with brighter tones like flirty pinks such as sweet salmon and the orchid-like from the DKNY Spring/Summer 2012 collection.

Always remember that colors always matter, and only the best shades are the ones mentioned in trend reports such as this. Happy color picking!
