John Varvatos ? Milan Fashion Week ? Fall 2011 ? Men

The historically modern ?safari/military and creative city? combinations of outfits
have a charming sense about them, while realistically put together.

The belts over what should be tucked under the pants, and the slightly different colored sleeves, compared to the shirts front and back creates a lot of contrast, while the ?lazy? ties around the neck tucked under the shirt intends on being prepared, but not to put oneself out there with a straight tie business look. (No offense to the classic business look.)

The outfits are put together interestingly, where there is one layer of sophisticated and classic fabrics over more casual and relaxed fabrics.

One very cool item is the short, almost cape looking back piece when 6 minutes and 44 seconds in to the YouTube video.

The fact that men are holding handbags brings a woman’s vibe in to the show, as if the fashions is highly approved by women.

The scarf stands out and looks important, as well as the messy ties gives character to the proper and detail oriented designs. The cuts and contrasts work well with the fall season.

Towards the end, there are outfits that represent a genre and become more individualized, not to mention the clock on the wall.
Pieces become a style, such as the rock type, or nerdy type or Gothic type and even the forest or hunting type.
