The London Fashion week 2012 spring/summer Bora Aksu collection has used extreme creativity with pulling off the unthinkable designs as shown in the YouTube video.
In 5 min and 44 seconds in the video, there is a piece that is a gorgeous mini dress with a laced back and defined fabric strings over the shoulders that leads to the pattern on the front side of the dress.
The front pattern design continues but the characteristics move in to a different genre.
I like how they have repeated the same clearly outstanding chest design but on a completely different type outfit each time.
The dress when 7 minutes and 14 seconds in the video has a messy attached mini skirt on top of another longer laced fabric, followed by a dress with a silk material and lace on the edges of the chest design.
All over, all pieces have a romantic feel and a bond to each other and the ripped laced stockings hides where the ?romance? is going. The collection is creating romance with the purpose of how the pastel colors shadow and compliment each other while having messy laced parts of the design that differ and surprises from the front of the piece to the back of the piece. The front piece sends a similar message with it’s design, over and over while the back of each piece resulting in a different way every time.
Bora Aksu was inspired by Edwardian Postcards that he found in an antique market in Geneva. The toffee, creme and pastel colors compliments the romantic genre with lace as the darker message of a special love story that understands the messy world but decides to still reach true romance.
