After being absent from the high-profile fashion event for 16 years, Paul McCartney’s fashion designer daughter, Stella McCartney, is now set to return to London Fashion Week. This event will be held from February 17th to 22nd 2011 and is always a fantastic opportunity for top designers to showcase their new designs, as well as for editors and buyers to gain an idea of what will be popular in the upcoming season
Stella McCartney will be returning to host a special fashion presentation on February 18th. This presentation will showcase a one-off collection and will definitely be something that attendees will be looking forward to seeing. After all, the designs that are shown at these types of events do indeed influence what we will be wearing for the next season, when we go out for lunch with friends, go to work or even just chill out at home playing Foxy Bingo. That is why so many people pay close attention to London Fashion Week, so they can stay ahead of the upcoming trends.
Also this year, Stella McCartney will be designing the Adidas kit that the British team will wear during the Olympics. This will be from the Adidas brand and as a result of the popularity of the Olympics, will be seen by millions of people all around the world. As well as this, she will be developing what will be called the ?World of Stella?at Selfridges on Oxford Street, London This will take place from January 26th until February 14th, and will no doubt be popular among fashion fans.
This is not all that Stella will be getting up to this year. She launches a new fragrance, opens a second store in London’s Brompton Cross and returns to Paris to showcase her Winter 2012 Collection. This will be shown on March 5th and will enable many editors and buyers to prepare for what the winter has in store fashion-wise.
