The black on orange and less exciting designs are summer simple. Nothing happened 2012 after all, and colors of bright and simple designs are welcome back. There is all the time in the world to create something that looks like the last standing design of our time. Marc by Marc Jacobs is calmed down and naked from all the fuss about bringing back old fashion on new fashion. However, it cheats by being very cold and using very bright colors. This runway show is intelligent for this reason, and the passage ways of modern societies advanced systems made to get around is more important to be well designed and updated, rather than our summer clothes.
The fashions look breathable and ?should be cheap because they are simple?. This is however a myth.
The fits are great because they don’t exactly grab every inch of the body, but doesn’t take youth and the sense of being ?modern? away by not doing so.
I like the fact that you don’t become what you wear with these designs, and that there is less emotional value for once. Although the designs are simple, I don’t feel tempted to add my own ideas to them.
Mostly, appreciating grand designs and repetitive favorite styles with slight differences are what makes fashion ?cool?, but it can also be a distraction to those who ?simply? look for good quality without attracting attention and fun with their high fashions.
It invites a breath of fresh air and new ideas/thinking, and old ideas settle in to other artistic objects around us, as if the world is yours even when you don’t feel like you’re wearing it !
