The Dark Side of The Modeling World and The Fashion Industry’s untold Secrets

A couple days ago I had a chance to see a documentary called Picture Me, featuring a Top Fashion Model called?Sara Ziff?talking about the dark side of the ?modeling World that no one knows about.
Models leaving their homes and loved ones behind months or even years at a time, feeling homesick and alone is just a small part of the terrible experiences Sara documented in her behind the scene documentary, shedding light on ?some?shady sides of modeling and great?sacrifices?these young?girls?make in the hopes of fame and fortune.

Sara began her modeling career at an early age for ?many advertising Campaigns, Billboards, Editorial Photoshoots and she walked the Runways of many fashion designers, but the price of such fame and success is not much higher than you can imagine.
Loosing your?innocence?at an early age, sleeping around with?scumbag agency owners, perverted photographers or fashion designers is just a few known facts in this dark secretive world of fashion modeling that no one really talks about
Many young models are too?inexperienced?to say NO?and if they do they are banned and branded from the modeling world for good,?therefore?forced to almost do anything and everything that is asked of them, But at what price?

Loosing their chance at a better education, being with their family and loved ones at a very crucial part of their lives along with loosing all respects for themselves in exchange for little or lots of money and a few magazine covers….It almost seems like selling your soul to the devil than a?modeling?contact to me especially when the very?same people that?glorified?you and put on pedestal will brand you as old and out of style, throwing you out in the garbage like a used toy any time they like.
But there are also many great upsides and success?stories for those that get lucky or know how to use their brains and intuition as well as their good looks.
Next time you are at a casting call or a job that feels weird , simply get up and leave before it is too late, no money in the world is worth losing respect for yourself , feeling guilty for the rest of your life for not being able to say NO ?and stand up for yourself!
