Stockings are a classic and feminine form of covering the legs. Usually, they’re worn with lingerie, dresses and skirts. Changing up style by just changing stockings is a good idea, especially if you’re not a jeans type of female.
There are leggins, knee highs and full stockings, and they usually come in different material, color and with stylish patterns.
Downtown LA is a good place to visit when you want a broad variety of stockings, and if you’re getting more than one pair. They have them all.
Higher quality leggins come in all colors imaginable at American Apparel and they are usually found in most clothing stores and boutiques. Standard colors are gray, black and white.
Knee highs are usually found in lingerie stores and at local supermarkets, as well as classic stockings are in beige and black. Thicker knee highs are fun to wear over thinner stockings, or under boots.
One example is to wear light blue or pink knee highs over white full stockings. Or thick black knee highs under gray boots, and fold them over the boots edge by the knees.
The one’s with hello kitties and death skulls and other designs are usually found at signature stores, private boutiques where they sell odd or Gothic styled clothing.
Thinner stockings usually give off a more slender look while the thicker ones give off a compact look.
